Earrach is hull number 37 of the Northshore built Spring 25. She is an exciting and fast cruiser-racer which has had two previous owners. Originally sold to a client in Europe, she was returned to the UK and sailed on Lake Windermere for 5 years, before being brought up to the Clyde. She is a well loved and well known boat on the Clyde, having been raced in white sail regattas and has even beaten ?Drum? on corrected time!

Earrach is reluctantly for sale due to the family wishes to cruise in a larger yacht.


Northshore took the moulds of the MG Spring 25 and improved the design in 1989 building 50 hulls over 2 years.  The improvements included redesigned chainplates; sturdier mast; sail drive transmission.

Her unique design allows her to dry out on sand, mud or gravel, resting in the flat wing keel and twin rudders.  This is very handy for a mid-season hull scrub and sail drive maintenance avoiding lift out charges.
