Hand laminated GRP Hull with Twaron reinforcements at keel area.

The NPG Gelcoat (the first layer of cloth is impregnated with NPG resin ) forms an optimum barrier against Osmosis.

Inner mould hull bottom, structural grid laminated to the hull.

Hull Portlights in the saloon.

Deck in Balsa core sandwich, made by infusion proces.

Draft 2.20m, cast iron keel, bolt loads taken up by stainless steel backing plate.

Semi eliptical rudder, filled with closed cell epoxy foam. Stainless steel, solid stock.

The under hull has 4 coats of Gelshield and 6 coats of coppercoat applied in 2007.

 

 

Electrics

There are 12 volt electrics throughout  supplied by 5 x 12 volt batteries giving 500ah capacity (4 x domestic 1 x Engine), these in turn are charged by the engine alternator.

There is also a 240 volt shore power supply with ring main sockets, inline battery charger facility, and hot water immersion.

Double spreader swept back 15/16 deck stepped rig in anodised aluminium with stainless steel standing rigging by Sparcraft.

Running rigging mostly made off to braid on braid polyester.

Accommodations

There are 6/7 in three separate cabins arrangement from forward.

Forward cabin has large Island double berth ample hanging and locker stowage, also a ensuite heads with shower and WC.

Main Saloon has large 'C' shaped settee to Starboard with dining table and small dining double seat at inboard side of dining table. Good stowage in the way of overhead lockers and below seating. the saloon settee can also be used as an occasional berth.

Galley is opposite saloon seating in a linear style and comprises of large work surface with lockers below and above. Eno three burner oven and grill gas cooker, fridge plus coolbox could be a freezer compartment, stainless steel sink one and a half type.

Chart table is situated aft of Saloon on Starboard forward facing with instrument and switch panel array. good hanging stowage locker behind chartable.

Aft Heads are to port side with WC shower and wash basin.

2 x large double under cockpit cabins with good hanging and stowage locker space.

Large aft cockpit with twin wheels full size cockpit table and cockpit lockers include 1 port 1 starboard plus one deep transom locker. There is also a large foredeck locker hatch accessed just aft of anchor locker.
